Laughing Gas Press Release 9/30/2004

Laughing Gas Continues our Month Long "Improv The Vote" with the "Presidential Rebate" or "Do You Kiss Babies With That Mouth?" Fridays and Saturdays thru October 30th

The Laughing Gas Comedy Improv Theatre Company continues their month of "Improv The Vote" shows, which will conclude on October 29th and 30th with a themed spectacular designed to entertain and get voters educated and motivated for the 2004 Presidential election. "Improv the Vote" begins this weekend, October 1st and 2nd, with their send up of the Presidential debate being held at the University of Miami with an improvised Presidential Town Hall Rebate and their "American Nuclear Energy Pimp-posium" or "Miami's Glowing Recommendation" lampooning the American Nuclear Energy Symposium held in Miami Beach. South Florida's longest-running improv troupe will then continue their month-long effort of political and social satire aimed at all sides of the political process with shows going after celebrity endorsements, Swift Boat ads, foreign policy, biased news programs, talking points and voting machines. The shows culminate in "The Presidential Rebate" or "Do You Kiss Babies With That Mouth?", a 90 minute show filled with sketches, their own improvised Presidential Town Hall Rebate, improvisations based on audience suggestions and musical pieces designed to have the audience laughing all the way to the polls that will be presented October 29th and 30th.

Registered Voters Receive 2 Tickets for the Price of 1! Bring two valid voter's registration cards during the month of October, 2004, and receive 2 tickets for the price of 1. We don't pay you to vote, but that doesn't mean that being a registered voter doesn't have advantages!
