Laughing Gas Improv plans tax relief comedy April 15-16 at Main Street Playhouse
The Laughing Gas Comedy Improv Theatre Company is working hard to provide "instant tax relief" in two nights of unmitigated laughter at the deductible expense of the IRS and with comedy that will actually try to make sens of the Tax Code.

Shows are scheduled for 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, April 15-16, at the Main Street Playhouse, 6766 Main Street.

The performances will provide itemized comedy for 90 minutes that is unaudited and will have the audience asking for an extension.

"We have no wish to be audited because of this," said Laughing Gas cast member Todd Rice. "This IRS has a good sense of humor about these things, don't they? Please tell me they do!"

Audience members can enjoy and participate in Laughing Gas classic pieces and some new ones such as "Deducations" and the "IRS Interrogation".

"We have a long history of comedy that brings laughter and educates at the same time," said Gerald Owens, Laughing Gas director. "Nothing is more laughable or requires more education that our system of taxes."

Over the past several months, Laughing Gas has performed shows to "Improv The Vote," lampooned pop-culture and helped with "Improv-ing The Community" campaign raising money for charities.

Laughing Gas has been picked as a Social Miami "Pick of the Week" several times for its themed shows and is regularly recognized for its socially relevant material.

Admission for the Laughing Gas shows at the Main Street Playhouse is $10. There is never an age restriction or a drink minimumFor reservations, call 305-461-1161, or visit the home page at www.laughinggasimprov.com.
