Laughing Gas Announces their "Double
Dribble" Shows Memorial Day Weekend, May 27-28th
The
Laughing Gas Comedy Improv Theatre Company, South
Florida's longest running professional improv troupe celebrates
an incredible season for the Heat with double the shows with "Double
Dribble", with special 9pm shows in addition to their
normal 11pm time slot both Friday and Saturday nights, May 27th
and 28th at the Main Street Playhouse in Miami Lakes.
Memorial Day weekend kicks off the first in three weeks of 2 shows
each Friday and Saturday night at 9 and 11pm that makes attending
these shows a Slam Dunk. Ask about our special "Floor Seating"
at our regular price!!!
In a series of sketches and improvised comedy, Laughing Gas will
turn up the Heat with 90-minutes of laughter.
"Any Heat players will get in for free," announced Todd Rice.
"And the cheerleaders, too. Actually they don't get in for free,
but I'll pay for their tickets myself!"
"We've
been solid part of this community for years," says director
Gerald Owens. "If the Heat do something great, we want to
be part of the celebration."
The additional earlier showtime will allow audiences to come to
the show that have never done so previously, or even to catch
a Double Dribble - both shows in the same night. That's something
that hasn't been possible previously, but is for 3 straight weeks
of two-show nights on Friday and Saturdays.
Over the past year, Laughing Gas has performed shows taking on
holidays, the Academy Awards, movie and TV events, and performed
benefits for several major charities. This has earned Laughing
Gas a reputation as a comedic force in South Florida.
