Answer: This show is a hilarious tribute to one of our favorite
game show hosts. What is "Double Jeopardy,"
the Laughing Gas Improv's birthday tribute
to Alex Trebek? Bing! That is correct. "We all love Alex Trebek
and enjoy the Saturday Night Live sketches," says cast member
Todd Rice, who's inviting all Canadians to come out and celebrate
one of their own, and "find out what it's all a-boot." Audience
members will be asked to provide answers, and cast members will
come up with the nutty questions. Before busting out a soulful
rendition of "Weird Al" Yankovic's "I Lost on Jeopardy," Rice
added that they'll play a little improvised celebrity Jeopardy!,
but hints that the caliber of intelligence will be more like what
you'll find on Wheel of Fortune. You'll also have a chance to
sign a birthday card for the bushy-haired smarty-pants. Your answers
will be questioned tonight at 9:00 and 11:00 at the Main Street
Playhouse (6766 Main St., Miami Lakes). Admission is ten dollars,
and there is no age restriction or drink minimum. Call 305-461-1161,
or visit www.laughinggasimprov.com.
