Laughing Gas has created a reputation for top-notch improv comedy
in South Florida.
Among their marquee pieces is Object Freeze, where objects are
borrowed from the audiences. The actors turn their backs and an
object is selected from a bag and placed on stage. The actors
turn back around and use that object in comedic pieces.
This is repeated through various objects.
Why Tell Us?
You, as the audiences members, have a responsibility in this piece.
We need objects from you. Things that are out of the ordinary,
and large enough to be seen from the audience. This means that
you need to be prepared to deliver on your half of the comedic
obligation.
Are You Ready?
Let us know that you are coming to the show and that you're bringing
some objects. We'll see about including the piece in the show.
And by all means, DO NOT TELL US what the objects are. Let us
be as suprised as the rest of the audience. It'll add to the comedy.
