Laughing Gas to Give Benefit to Hope
For Vision April 24th
The Laughing
Gas Comedy Improv Theatre Company continues their
effort for Improv-ing the Community
with a benefit performance for the Hope For Vision, Live!
The performance taking place at the North Miami Beach Theater
of the Performing Arts at 17011 NE 19th Avenue in North Miami
Beach on Monday, April 24th at 7:30pm will be used to raise awareness
of retinal degenerative diseases and to help fight for prevention
and a cure.
Laughing Gas will be joined by a variety of top-notch entertainment
at the event including MadTV's Keegan Michael Key and the Miami
Heat Dancers. Also slated to perform at the show are The Green
Room, DJ Le Spam, the Laughing Gas Improv Theatre Company, THEY
improv, Peter Fogel, Steve Gladstone, Crescendo and many more.
"We're happy to help any way we can," says Laughing
Gas Director Gerald Owens. "We'll do what we can to give
Hope For Vision."
Laughing Gas has earned a reputation as the top culturally relevant
troupe in South Florida, having performed shows to "Improv
The Vote", "Improv-ing The Community"
for charities and themed shows on topics of the day. Laughing
Gas has been picked as a Social
Miami "Pick of the Week" several times for
their themed shows and is regularly recognized for its socially
relevant material. Laughing Gas was also recently honored as Best
Short-Form Improv Troupe in Miami Dade County at the Improv
Miami Prizes.
